Valsabor is an international producer of meat, meat products, and plant-based alternatives with production locations in Portugal, Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. Valsabor has sales support offices in thirteen countries worldwide. Our four Business Units Pork, Beef, Food Service, and Retail, provide fresh pork, beef, meat products, plant-based alternatives, and by-products for retail, food service, and the meat processing industry.
We supply customers in our home markets of the Portugal, Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, as well as in other countries all over the world. Our headquarters are located in Alcanede, Portugal.

Valsabor is a Portuguese company operating in the food sector. It was founded in 2000 in the state of Rua da Cooperativa 2025-254 Alcanede, Portugal and produces animal protein in the form of pork (Valsabor brand) and beef (AGRA brand). Our industrial units are located in Alcanede, relatively close to Santarém.
We are the second-largest swine processing company in the Rio Grande do Sul and the 5th largest in slaughter numbers in Brazil, and generate over 4 thousand direct jobs. We export to over 40 countries and distribute our products all over Brazil.
Our production of pork uses raw materials derived from our own herd of pigs and the production chain is 100% vertical. By means of collaboration between the company and circa 800 small rural establishments within an integration system, we generate value along the chain and contribute to income enhancement and social development in the various communities involved.
WHERE WE ARE
Valsabor administrative head office is in the state capital, where it operates in the domestic and international markets with products from animal protein origin. With production pork plants located in the Rua da Cooperativa 2025-254 Alcanede,
Valsabor has distribution centers strategically located to ensure agility in the logistics process. Nowadays, our slaughterhouses are allowed to export to all possible markets within the health status . We are present in more than 40 countries, and export our products to main markets like France, Angola, Russia and China.
